Village Pantry: Your Go-To Family Deli in Feasterville-Trevose

Allll your Philadelphia favorites in this suburban deli. Stock’s, Tomato pie, gravy, homemade ravioli… They are know for their “Best of Philly” hoagie - The Messina and it’s absolutely a piece of art!!

This deli is an extension of your family. The food is consistently top tier, the employees are always overly friendly and accommodating and the prices are reasonable. We have gone here for years and are grateful to have quality food by great people close to our home.

First time trying the Pantry after seeing one of their social media videos on a local community page (keep them up, they're working). I looked at their specialty hoagies and found the Messina, which conveniently had the exact meats and toppings I would have ordered if I were building it from scratch. This was a stellar hoagie. It looked beautiful when unwrapped and tasted even better. The seeded roll was crisp on the outside and soft in the center. The greenery was crispy and fresh, far from the soggy wilted junk often served at other places. And one of my favorite things: this may be the first hoagie in my history (and trust me, there have been many both local and downtown) where my request for extra vinegar was understood and executed with vigor. I don't know why so many places are afraid to put the double-X in exxtra which far too often requires a healthy shower of sour once I get home, but the Pantry heard it loud and clear and delivered. Sad I waited so long to give them a try. I will be back!

A hidden gem off the pike. Highly recommend you pass on the corporate fast food sandwich chains/gas stations. Stop in village pantry and take a trip back in time. From sliced to order meats and fresh bread, to pulling a giant pickle out of the barrel. Quality family owned shop serving up the best.
